  • CORY-okay ( sing alongs )

Cory has been crooning in assisted living communities, senior centers and personal care homes by bringing and singing COWBOY CAMPFIRE SONGS. Though one might believe dressing up in dingos, spurs and a guitar would be his look for a cowboy serenade, Cory dons the Jimmy Buffett, "it's a 5 o'clock shadow somewhere" and Mike Utley keyboards motiff.

    Cartooning Caricatures at Festivals

I drew a caricature of KATIE COURIC when she first started at the Today Show back in the early 1990's and I actually got the opportunity to personally hand it to her.

I also got a chance to draw BILL COSBY, and he was cool enough to send me an autographed photo.

Cory will draw funny caricatures at proms, festivals, reunions, weddings and parties.

This is a great side entertainment to have. Cory has been drawing caricatures since his days at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
Doodling at the 3 Rivers Arts Festival, Del Grosso's Amusement Park and Lakemont Park. His two big seasons for caricatures is in the spring for proms and in the winter for holiday office parties. Send him a photograph and attach the person's name and hobbies and he can get a B&W or color caricature off to you in no time.

Would your school, day camp or church youth group like a fun and entertaining program?
Have Cory come in and lead his Cartooning show for you and your gang.
Cory demonstrates the basics of drawing through the fun and funny world of cartooning.
It's a interactive, audience participating, fun time for all!
Cory's Stories are hysterical!                            Cory tells tales of his experiences of drawing caricatures over the years
He'll draw cartoons of some of the folks in the audience
He walks and talks cartoons during his witty speech!

Besides going into the classrooms and performing in the school auditoriums, Cory does instruct small group and individual art lessons.  His Art Funshops are taught out of his studio in his house.  He teaches Cartoons, Comics and Caricatures.   Cory was invited to Crayola's 100th Anniversary Party and Parade, in 2003, to be the caricaturist on staff, and he also taught one of the first Camp Crayolas

    History Bluffs

TURNING THE PAGES OF HISTORY, AND THEN BENDING AND CRIMPING THEM A BIT

     CLASSIC BLUFFS

    BLUFFS IN COLOR

One reader wrote, "when and where did you BLURT out the first History Bluff?" Ironically, I was in the oldest town in the USA, St. Augustine Florida when I heard 2 DJs on the radio talking about students lack of knowledge on history. They joked about several events in history and I remember them clearly saying 'the 100 years war went on for so long, they forgot who started it and what it was all about'. I laughed so hard my spleen was in my lap. That same afternoon, I heard someone on a phone, yell across a  bar room to a friend, " Hey, how long was the 100 years war?!"  I knew there was a cartoon in there somewhere and, the rest is..... history.....bluffs

    CORY-OGRAPHY

I've been teaching square and line dancing for nearly 25 YEARS ( Of course, I started calling when I was 2 years old. Ha! )  I am a member of CALLERLAB and I've been drawing a cartoon called SPIN CHAIN SPOOFS for the AMERICAN SQUARE DANCE MAGAZINE since I was 13 years old. I call the Modern Western Style from Basic thru Advanced, but my favorite group I teach is the handicapable club called the HAKUNA MATATAS.  Besides being a commercial artist, I am a RECORDING ARTIST too, and have recorded for several dance record labels.
