There is a gem of an organization in Altoona called the Alto Model Train Museum Association. They are promoting model railroading and have two locations, one in the front buildings of Lakemont PArk, and the other on the 3rd floor of the Rockway Building in Altoona (2817 Industrial Avenue, the tall building next to the 29th street bridge).
