Born to Ride

After a long hard week of work...  I'm finally getting a break this weekend.  I just got back from my dive.  The water was 44 degrees.  Had a great dive with Kory.  The weather today was just outstanding.  I'm usually stuck in front of my laptop, but I said that this weekend I'm going to do "my thing".  The visibility was about 10 feet.  Not too good, but that's ok.  I have been diving since I was 14, but I am still amazed that with the diving technology used today, I can submerge myself in 44 degree water for an entire hour and come to the surface warm and completely dry.  Amazing.

Tomorrow I'm even taking ANOTHER day off.  I'm going to Sommerset tomorrow after church to ride my new Rhino.  Basically it is an oversized 4 wheeler but a buddy can ride beside me.  It kinda puts you in the mind of an old CJ 7 when you are going through the woods.  I have my cooler packed, the grill is fully tested to make steaks, and the tank is full.  The cell phones are staying behind tomorrow.  I am really looking forward to it.  75 miles of riding!  One of my good friends Kory is going to be the passenger side camera man.  I plan on posting some neat clips of our ride.  When Kory and I get together, we always do something crazy so hopefully we will catch it on film.

Tomorrow night I'll post some pictures of our ride.  STAY TUNED!

Rock Run Park

Looking forward to those videos of your ATV experience. We ride a lot around the family farm. There was news of a new ATV recreation area called Rock Run Recreation Area. I am told there are 50 miles of trails, and a lot of different skill sets to choose. If you get a chance visit the Rock Run Recreation Area website at http://www.rockrunrecreation.com/index.php?page=home

Heading there in 2 weeks!

Coincidently, my mother in law brought me a newspaper that this place made the front page of.  I'm heading there with my father in law and hopefully a couple friends in two weeks.  If any of you would like to hit the trails, let me know!
