Hookie McSnout and Tryin' to Reason with the Hurricane Season

This photograph was taken in Key West at Piratefest.  Cuzzin Mike hasn't told anyone yet, but he's written poems and songs about several of our happenings while in the Keys. I'm sure he'll tell you soon about the positive effects a hurricane can have on a peninsula.

Due to the nasty weather from about August thru November, all of the parties and festivals that usually occured during those months were pushed off until the first 2 weeks in December.  This goes without saying that we hit the best time ever to be down there.  At least 2 or 3 major celebrations per day, with another handful of smaller festivals.  And, a big time TV show was being taped too.  But I'm not gonna tell you much, these writings are all Cuzzin Mikey.

I just can't figure out how he can remember all these events.  Because if it wasn't for the photographs, well let's just say, I experienced a lot of 'lost time' while at the beach. By the way, folks, did you know that a Sand Bar is not all that it's cracked up to be.  Talk about false advertising.

Mikey, show them your HOOKIE MCSNOUT song/kids book/poem/brochure.  You are doing fantastic with these stories.
