APRR: Plane 4

Location(s)

APRR Plane 4
Lilly, PA
See map: Google Maps

Plane 4, like Planes 2 and 5, has survived as part of a modern roadway.  The top, or eastern half of the plane is a deep cut.  The bottom of the plane is an embankment.  Because the embankment could not be widened for highway traffic, the road from Cresson into Lilly was diverted (near the PNA Club) west by one block so that two-way automobile traffic could be maintained.
