My first car was a silver Chrysler Lebaron, early 80s model. My dad paid $2,000 for that first car. To me it was luxury on four wheels, despite the cracked upholstered top and bad brakes. It took me to school, starred in several Geishauser/Cooley video productions, took me and my date to the prom, and drove me to College.

I believe most of us can remember our first car. It was our first taste of freedom. We could go anywhere as long as we had enough friends, who had enough money, to buy enough gas. The first car ranks up there with the first kiss, simply memorable.
