Thank you, Lord!

Our family celebrated Thanksgiving this year in our little home.  We had 30 here with 9 children under 7 years and it was marvelous.  Everyone came and helped set up the tables and chairs.  We had so many pumpkin and apple pies that the can of whipped cream gave up!

For Thanksgiving breakfast, Dana, our granddaughter made cinnamon toast just bursting with lots of flavor.  Her little sister, Sarah must have helped.  Jon, our son, and Zachary, his son, spent time buttering up the big turkey and putting it in the oven to roast all day filling the house with delicous odors.  It was better than a candle!

We enjoyed seeing all the kids, grandkids and great grandkids and their relatives and we thank God for giving us our family and a lovely day with the sun shining overhead.  It was good for all those who had to travel.  We all thanked God before we ate our meal and the children drew special pictures of their thanks to God too.  I put the drawings away in our family album and pray that we have another Thanksgiving like this one next year.
