"Sometimes you're the windshield, sometimes you're the bug . . ." and sometimes you're the snowflake!

As I returned home from voting today, something really unusual happened. Just as a crossed the bridge on Route 866 at Ganister, a large bug went SPLAT! on my windshield. Probably the last bug splat of the year. But at the same time, the first SNOWFLAKES of the season were also hitting the windshield -- bugs and snow?! Talk about watching the seasons change right before your eyes. And yes, to further add to this cosmic coincidence, the song "Sometimes you're the Windshield . . ." (Mary Chapin Carpenter's version) was playing as this all happened. (Cue the Twilight Zone theme.)
