BOW TO YOUR CALLERs

I've been calling square dances since I was a kid, but I believe that there are some new and upcoming youth callers who will be saving our square dance activity.  Like this stunning young lad, JUSTIN RUSSELL

What a great story! ( click on his name )

Or how about Hunter Keller? When I met Hunter, I thought I ran into a young Lee Majors, you know, from back in the Big Valley days?  What a great name for a caller, Hunter Keller.  He's got a great head on his shoulders.

I met Justin & Hunter  this past April at our annual Callerlab Convention, held this year in Colorado Springs.  These gents have what it takes to be a teen callers.  They are quite mature for their ages and are very intelligent.  I wish the two of these dudes the best of luck and we are very fortunate to have them in our square dancing family.

There were several other youth callers with whom I've had the pleasure of meeting, and I need to do more research to find more about their calling careers.  It's so impressive to see youth callers.  Justin and Hunter are very good at their craft. I tip my hat to both of them.

Do any readers know why two young men, like J and H, are going to be a positive influence and one heck of an inspirational lift and boost in the square dance world?
